I love traveling and trying new things. I dabble in all sorts of hobbies: biking, running, rollerblading, sewing, cooking, and tennis to name a few. Good beer and good friends -- old or just met! -- make for a great night. Just trying to see as much of this world and as many of its inhabitants as I can before I have to leave it.
My girlfriend and I couldn't recommend this tour more. We ended up on a private tour with the guide, V., after a group of three ended up cancelling without notice. He took us on a nice tour through the city center of three unique micro-breweries that each had their own atmosphere, story, and flavorful offerings. We would not have found these places on our own, but they were all great. By the end of the tour, we had tried roughly 10 different beers and -- just as importantly -- felt like we had made a new friend in V. Just a quick thought: while the three of us were at the first brewery we saw another beer tour go by. Probably 20-30 people on the tour. One of those tours with the headphones and a guide talking into your ear, but not to you. In that moment, and thinking about it again as I type this out, I couldn't have been happier booking THIS tour instead of THAT tour. Do yourself a favor an make a memory by booking this tour. Thanks again, V. and Martin.
Great tour. We got some great snapshots of Prague's local culture that you won't find in a book or on TripAdvisor. As a lifelong Prague resident, Sany was able to give us some perspective on Prague's history through the 'communism lens' as well as a nice look at the alternative art scenes going on today. Highly recommend. Knowing what we know now, my girlfriend and I would have gladly paid twice as much for this tour. Thanks Sany!
My girlfriend and I had a great time spending half a day in Zakopane with Ziggy as a tour guide. We walked and talked from the bus stop through the town and into the mountains and back. We would have liked to spend more time hiking in the mountain trails, but it snowed ~1.5 meters in the three days prior to our trip so that wasn't possible. Regardless, Ziggy tailored the trip to us with sightseeing in and around Zakopane. He spoiled us for sure and wouldn't even take a tip at the end of the day when I practically tried to shove the money in his pocket! I would highly recommend this experience if you enjoy being outdoors and seeing something a little off the beaten path.
My girlfriend and I had a great time with Jose and the four others who took the tour with us. The trip was scenic, but not daunting.; the biking was not hard at all even if you haven't ridden a bike in 10+ years. Jose was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. The tour had a great flow for the entire day by spacing the biking, drinking, and eating out well. Would highly recommend!
Otto gave us an outstanding tour by boat. We got to see all of the sights any "normal" boat tour would, but also got a very personalized touch and extra intimacy from the small group experience. Pickup/drop-off times and locations were very flexible and he made it as easy as possible for us. Otto took us to a great microbrewery as well and we got to try some very good Dutch beers from the source. I would 100% recommend this tour over one of the big boat tours; you will not be disappointed!
Esther set up a great food and wine (and beer) tour for us that was unlike other tours available. My friend and I both left feeling we had gotten a nice chance to not only learn about the food culture of Rome, but also learn about many of the cultural nuances and quirks of the Romans. This made the tour special, more intimate, and very enjoyable and informative. Esther was very sweet throughout and might be the first person I've met who smiles more than I do! I would recommend this tour 100% if you want something a little different; it would be impossible to find the same experience in a tour guide book.
This tour was exactly what we were looking for: a concise, focused tour of a lot of the city center's highlights with great commentary to accompany the view. The tour guide, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable about Rome both past and present. He mixed in great tidbits of fun things to do and see in present day Rome while painting a rich picture of the history the city has been through. The tour ended up lasting closer to 3h30m instead of the 3h00m listed so we even felt we got a better value for our money! I would recommend this tour 100% especially if you can get one of the smaller group tours and have more personal time to talk with Robert and pick his brain.
Our master chef and market guide, Kindra, was very pleasant and enthusiastic. She clearly had a great knowledge of cooking in general and of La Boqueria market specifically. The class was fun and we had a great group of other "chefs-in-training." This was probably the highlight of our time in Barcelona and we definitely recommend it! The food we prepared also ended up tasting great due to Kindra's guidance.
The tour was very good. We got in later than anticipated and Jim/Matt were very flexible in meeting us. We ended up not being able to do the bike tour (our fault, not the company's), but Matt gave us a great walking tour around to some of the key sites and along the beach/Barceloneta area. I would definitely recommend. For the price, I think it was a great find!
We had a great time! :-) thank you.
Very pleasant person. It was a great honor to service Matt here in Poland. Hope you will return soon, we are more than happy to host you again Matt!.
